Young Aspiring Writers' Nonprofit

YAWN stands for Young Aspiring Writers’ Nonprofit. We are a group of young writers and proofreaders from 19 different nationalities all around the world. Our mission is to write immersive, compelling stories, which point out and allegorize problems in modern society. We are currently focusing on refugees & the aftereffects of colonialism. Through our writing, we hope to not only raise awareness of these issues, but also fundraise for the UNHCR, and aid refugees everywhere around the world. Specifically, our goal is to fundraise $2000 USD before the end of 2024.
